Those Crystal Heart Award winning films created by students are given the distinct honor of winning the Jimmy Stewart Memorial Crystal Heart Award. This year, the famed actor's daughter, Judy, will attend the Gala and Awards Ceremony in order to present these talented students with their much-deserved award.

As they do every year, the 2006 Festival filmmakers will all be in attendance, as well as several featured actors and subject. Pearl Fryar, of A Man Named Pearl, will attend, as will Lee Meriwether, who appears in The Ultimate Gift.
